Away In A Manger
An American church organist called W.J. Kirkpatrick (1832-1921) composed this carol, based on a traditional American poem, so that it could be performed by a Sunday school class. It is now one of the best loved of all carols, especially among children. |

1. Away in a manger, no crib for a bed |
2. The cattle are lowing, the baby |
3. Be near me Lord Jesus; I ask Thee to stay |
