Tomorrow Is Christmas Day
Line M. Prasad

In the streets, heart-shaped candles are lit
and under their crimson shine we sit
on the golden threaded turf of December snow
waiting for the magic of Christmas to bestow
that long awaited feeling of excitement and joy
when we can finally open our presents
and play with that new and special toy
that only comes on Christmas night
on Christmas night
when the faces of all children
are shining like the stars so bright

So listen now carefully
the church bells are singing so lovely
let us be on our way
because tomorrow is Christmas day
yes, tomorrow is Christmas Day

So blue is the night
such an awe-inspiring sight
when the shine of the gold-plated stars in the winter sky
twinkles on the silvery snow-covered trees nearby
and on this white winter turf you and I lie
dreaming up into that glorious sky
and making snow angels to send with our dreams
to a magical land that to us seems
so far away in all its midnight charms and winter dreams

But listen now carefully
the church bells are singing so lovely
let us be on our way
because tomorrow is Christmas day
yes, tomorrow is Christmas Day
