The Miracles Of Snow
by
Debra Woodard

What do children see in the snow
Is it the texture or is it that it
is so white and bright in the day's
light that it draws them to it so much
seeing the pretty snow flakes
falling from the sky on the wall
and housetops.
Children just love watching it
filling all the air.
All look so soft and white
such a beautiful sight.
The air so crisp and cold
children don't worry about that
all they think about is getting
out in it with their sleds and
their friends.
Children love to play with the
snow build them snowmen
and forts never once thinking
about the coldness in the air.
What a marvellous sight to see
these children enjoying the
snow without a care in the world.
