Just Like Jesus

by

Mike Agius

There's a young man down our street - looks just like Jesus.
His Dad's called Joe and his Mum's called Mary,
he has an intense look, which can be quite scary.

He goes down the Buck with Simon, Peter and Paul,
where, landlord complains, 'he does more than he oughta',
'cause he turns both beer and wine into water.

His friends take him to the station when he goes back to Uni,
remarking, 'he can buy the booze the next time he sees us',
while waving and shouting, 'see you at Christmas, Dave'
