Frozen Plum Pudding


Ingredients:

0.5 pint confectioner's Custard
0.5 pint stiffly whipped cream
1 heaped tablespoon each of:
Chopped glacé cherries
Chopped angelica
Chopped glacé ginger
Chopped crystallised pineapple
Sultanas and currants
0.25 pint sweet dry wine

Method:

Place all the fruit in a roomy bowl. Cover with wine and leave overnight. The following morning, strain off the wine thoroughly. Mix the cream and custard together, fold in the fruit and freeze until required; either in a deep-freeze compartment, or in the ice-cube tray of a small refrigerator.
