Christmas Season

by

Christmas tree so bold and bright,

Full of tinsel and Christmas light.

Stuffed with baubles and a shiny star,

That Christmas morning isnt too far.

Lots of space underneath the tree,

Presents for all the family.

All the gifts for that warm smile,

But only happens once in a while.

Its Christmas Eve, its almost here,

Santas arrival is very near.

Christmas morning, the childrens glee,

As they all crowd round the Christmas tree.

All the sweets and chocolate bars,

All the clothes and fast toy cars.

All the aftershave and bath tub smellies,

New trainers, new shoes and big green wellies.

All the family on Christmas day,

Santas now been, and on his way.

Once a year, the joy it brings,

Santa, baby Jesus and his three kings
